The Grout Genie is a licensed tile and grout restoration company serving Northern Virginia and is located in Fair Oaks Mall in Fairfax, VA. We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Tile & Grout Technicians to join our team.

This role is for someone who values precision, consistency, and professional workmanship. You will work in customers’ homes performing tile and grout services to a high standard and representing our brand with the HIGHEST level of care and integrity.

Training & Onboarding:

All technicians complete a paid training period at $30/hour. Training is focused on learning The Grout Genie’s specific processes and systems.

Training includes:

• Our established tile and grout service methods.
• Quality standards and finishing requirements.
• Project setup, walk through processes.
• Job documentation, photos, and workflow using company software.
• Customer interaction standards and professionalism.

Core Responsibilities:

• Tile and grout cleaning, sealing, and grout repair.
• High-quality installation of 100% silicone caulk in showers and wet areas.
• Protect customer homes before, during, and after service.
• Follow company procedures and quality standards consistently.
• Accurately document work using company software.
• Communicate clearly with customers and internal staff.
• Maintain a clean, organized job site and work vehicle.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven ability to install silicone caulk cleanly and professionally (required). This skill will be verified and is non-negotiable for this position.
• Experience in tile and grout restoration including grout repair, minor tile repair, tile and grout cleaning and sealing.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Comfortable working independently in customers’ homes.
• Willingness to follow established processes and systems.
• Physically able to perform hands-on work.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Attention to detail a must.

Compensation & Advancement:

• $30/hour during training.
• Transition to percentage-based pay per job after training.
• Percentage based on experience, efficiency, and quality of work.
• Consistent work for the right candidate.
